About Us

History

 March 2010, the Brighter Community Charitable Foundation (501c3) was established under the name of Phi Psi Zeta Charitable Foundation, as the philanthropic partner of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.Phi Psi Zeta chapter. The PPZCF purpose was to support financial literacy, youth, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Stork’s Nest program.

Over the years we have refined our mission to include women's health awareness through volunteer services in the North Texas Region.

Community Involvement

  • December 17, 2010: PPZ Charitable Foundation receives $500 grant from March of Dimes
    • 2010 – 2014: PPZCF Stork’s Nest Serviced over 100 young adult mothers through the program which provided incentives for mothers to keep routine health and wellness visits.
    • February 1, 2013: March of Dimes (DALLAS chapter) awarded a $3000 grant to Phi Psi Zeta Charitable Foundation to support the Stork’s Nest Education Program (PPZCF SNEP)
    • 2012 – present: Awarded over $10,000 in scholarships to high school seniors in the Denton and Collin counties
Women's Health Programs: Over $3000 granted from March Of Dimes
Educational Programs: Over 100 young adult mothers serviced
Scholarships: over $10,000 awarded
